The small Beding gompa is situated at the beginning of town, with some fine murals painted in 1960 by the famous artist Kappa Kalden from Khumbu. The northern wall of the Gompa is filled with the books of the Kangul and Yum, which were carried from Tibet after being printed in 1944.
